This is one of the best Hotels that I have ever stayed in. Check in was easy and I was traveling on an international trip and they shuttled me to the airport and allowed me to leave my truck on their property while I was away! The breakfast was the best, eggs and ham with biscuits and gravy with potatoes Coffee and juice. I wish that I could have brought the bed home with me. We weren’t here long enough to rate Jacksonville we stayed one night. There is definitely a ton of traffic, but who isn’t experiencing traffic in Florida. We are WaWa fans and there are 2 within a few minutes from the hotel and easy to get to. The city design with a wide river cutting through it and many bays, islands, and bridges is unique. A variety of neighborhoods is appealing. It is also close to beaches on the Atlantic coast. Botanical content, bars, and dance places add to the attraction. Compared with the south of Florida (the Ft. Lauderdale-Miami zone), Jax is much more relaxed and less pretentious regarding showing off the wealth of rich inhabitants.
